Functie
We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Manager for the largest highly automated logistics center of the Netherlands in Lelystad. In this role you play a crucial role by providing comprehensive HR support to our international workforce with a specific focus on our warehouse colleagues (1500 FTE ).You will advise line managers on HR policies, manage employee relations and ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws for the largest pure-play contract logistics provider in the world. You will be part of the local management team that works closely together with our customer, as well as the overall BeNe&Nordics HR team.
Together with your team consisting of 10 colleagues, you will be responsible for managing the employee life cycle working closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, strengthen company culture, support internal communications and increase productivity and retention whilst reducing absenteeism.
- Taking the lead for the site for HR related matters and manage your team with HR Advisors, Workforce Coordinators and HR Support.
- Leads various HR Projects on site, such as Employee Satisfaction, Recruitment, Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging and the creation of a training and development program with the aim of keeping the competencies of employees and management in line with requirements and changes.
- Allocates resources, fix and flex, and ensures that the right mix of employees with appropriate skills are available when needed.
- Performs human resources management, coaching and counselling, problem and conflict resolution, investigation and corrective actions.
- Takes care of industrial relations at site level by providing guidance to employees and supporting line management in their relations with the Works Council.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an HR role in a international logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices.
- Cultural savvy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
- Ability to navigate between all levels of employees.
- Very flexible
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Visma, Atoss, Protime) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Spanish is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Has Grit and a hands-on & `can do` mentality.
