Shift manager
We are seeking a dedicated people manager who is ready to support and guide our team. You will ensure that team members are in the right roles and performing at their best and manage the team leaders. Are you our new Shift Manager?
About the Role: As a Shift Manager at DHL's High Tech campus in Beringe, you'll oversee operations across our expansive 145,000 m² facility, specifically within the Technical Service Center. You will manage 2 Team Leaders and a team of 40 people, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Processes: Continuously monitor and refine operational processes to ensure efficiency;
- Future Planning: Anticipate future needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives;
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment;
- Accurate Data Management: Ensure precise administration and data recording;
- KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to drive performance;
- People development: You are the coach to our people, you guide the team leaders and make sure everybody is able to grow in their roles.
Employment Conditions:
- Full-Time Position: 32 hours per week is also acceptable.
- Competitive Salary: Ranging from €3,500 to €4,900, based on experience and knowledge.
- Day Shift: Standard daytime working hours.
- Tools Provided: Laptop and phone.

What We Seek in a Shift Manager:
- Educational Background: HBO level or relevant leadership experience in logistics.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to connect with diverse teams.
- Process Understanding: Ability to understand and anticipate operational needs.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus!
- Team Development: Focus on empowering and developing team members.
