Preventive Maintenance Team Lead
Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is looking for a Preventive Maintenance Team Lead based in The Netherlands, Olst.
Major accountabilities
The Team Lead for Preventive Maintenance is responsible for the preventive maintenance team and for overseeing the preventive maintenance activities within the maintenance department. This role ensures compliance with all internal and external regulations regarding EHS&E and GMP.The Team Lead assigns technicians to preventive maintenance tasks and corrective services, working closely with work planners to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Main responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
- Oversee daily team activities and lead daily/weekly team meetings.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and solutions to team members.
- Evaluate team performance and foster a collaborative work environment.
Staffing and Resource Management:
- Monitor staffing levels and technician availability.
- Arrange for external maintenance capacity as needed.
- Ensure the team is adequately trained and equipped.
Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with work planners to develop and communicate maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are planned and executed efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Workshop and Equipment Management:
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the workshop.
- Manage tools, machines, and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
Competency Development:
- Develop and update the maintenance team's competency matrix.
- Identify critical skills and abilities, and facilitate relevant training programs.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Policy and Procedure Implementation:
- Co-determine maintenance procedures and policies.
- Ensure compliance with EHS&E and GMP regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- HBO or MBO level 3/4 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Over 10 years of relevant work experience in maintenance.
- Proficiency in SAP PM module, MS Windows, and Office.
- VCA-VOL certificate available or willing to get it.
- Full command of Dutch, and English both spoken and written.
- Strong leadership, strategic influence, analytical thinking, and project management capabilities.
