[ref. f903601] Mechatronic Technician
Are you interested in the assembly and installation of radars? As a Mechatronic Technician, you will be part of the team responsible for producing our radars before they are sent to our customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality, precision-mechanical radars that contribute to a safer world for people and animals. They will work independently, but never alone and will also occasionally monitor junior technicians and guide them where necessary.
They will be part of the Production team, which consists of a Head of Production and eight other fellow technicians. Together the team builds more than 50 radars per year!
Responsibilities- You assemble complex and high-tech radars every day by screwing them together, connecting various electronic components, soldering and making the sub-assemblies;
- You like a diversity of tasks, building radars, assembly, cabling, but also taking a forklift course;
- You are able to create work descriptions and test plans based on diagrams and layouts and convert electrical diagrams into sleek products;
- You ensure that our radars are very tightly constructed, both electronically and mechanically;
- In addition, ensure that you install the correct software on the laptop or server that comes with the radar;
- Of course you also help test the radar! You do this at the office, but sometimes outside at special test locations.
- We expect you to have an MBO 4 working and thinking level;
- You have completed a Mechatronics course, or a technical course with mechatronics as a specialization;
- You have at least 1-3 years of comparable work experience*;
- You have experience in using measuring equipment to detect errors in electronic systems;
- You are super handy, passionate about your profession, and enjoy working with technology in your spare time. We are curious about your hobbies;
- You work precisely and structured and record what is important, so that you are not faced with any surprises in your work afterwards;
- You want to learn quickly and know how to tackle things in a fast-growing and changing company like Robin.
Additionally, depending on the role and its responsibilities we may request a certificate of conduct (VOG) before or during the employment period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
