As a Procurement Manager in the Offshore Development Team, you will support several of our offshore projects during the development phase. The primary focus will be the pre-FID tendering and negotiations of a variety of packages, including Engineering, Site Investigation Surveys , Consultancy Services and Offshore Works.
About the role:
- Support our global offshore projects with the drafting of project / package procurement strategies as necessary
- Responsible for the interfacing of supporting functions and projects to compile and draft all RFI/RFQ documentation for issuance to the market for allocated requirements
- Undertake supplier pre-qualification using the RWE online PQQ system
- Build RFI/RFQs within RWE online e Tendering tool
- Ability to evaluate RFQ responses on a Total Cost of Ownership basis to ensure selection of the most appropriate suppliers
- Leading commercial and legal negotiations with support from the inhouse legal team
- Monitoring, and adjusting to market changes and challenges to feed in to corporate-wide strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with key supplier interfaces
- Support junior members of the Procurement Team to ensure team development
Job requirements and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within procurement
- Experience within Renewables desirable, but not essential
- Qualifications in a recognised Procurement professional accreditation (ie CIPS) / economics / business / legal would be advantageous
- Ability to effectively understand commercial risks to minimise impacts to the project
- Experienced in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Very good communication skills in English and Dutch, both orally and written
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your package of works
