Our client is a leading company in the Manufacturing and Production sector, committed to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize their production operations at the client's facility in North Brabant.

Functie

In this role as Interim Production Manager you will be responsible for:

• Production Planning & Execution: Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization. Monitor production performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and motivate production personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance reviews, address employee concerns, and promote teamwork.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and identify opportunities for automation.
• Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the production process. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Resource Management: Manage production equipment, materials, and supplies effectively. Optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime through preventative maintenance programs.
• Cost Control: Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Implement strategies to minimize waste, improve energy efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Profiel

For this role as Interim Production Manager:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment .
• Strong understanding of plastic processing techniques (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, blow molding) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using SAP.
• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Start date: ASAP
• Full time assignment (40h per week)
• Contract for 3 months
