Commercialization Manager
Utrecht
Overview:
The Commercialization Manager leads key innovation and change projects regarding NWE Growth Channels (Hard Discount, Nordics) and VE (Value Engineering). The scope is covering the Foods category (all Foods brands) and multiple geographical areas (Benelux & Nordics - NWE).
Location is preferred to be either Netherlands (Utrecht) or Belgium (Zaventem).
We offer hybrid work model.
Travel is occasional.
Responsibilities:
- Project management of local Innovation & Commercial Change projects focusing on NWE Growth Channels (Hard Discount, Nordics) and Value Engineering,
- Ensuring delivery of Must Win Battles in the Foods category, including the lead in locally led initiatives,
- Primary contact between Commercial team, R&D, Supply chain, Purchasing and other central functions, for your projects,
- Responsible for the flawless execution of change projects, by steering the Prime Movers on general project approach, critical path and timings,
- Drive issue resolution together with Prime Mover to ensure all key milestones are delivered against and overall project risk is reduced,
- Chair multidisciplinary project meetings to align project scope decisions between relevant stakeholders and follow up execution,
- Prepare and facilitate monthly decision cycle (Gate’s)
- Effectively manage projects through the Stage Gate process using MyInnovation software ensuring full compliance to SwissCo process
- Present project status and drive issue resolution as well as decisions in governance forums with senior stakeholders.
- Actively participate in a sector/local commercialization capability workstream, and present back to rest of the team
Qualifications:
- College or university degree
- Min. 5 yrs. of experience in FMCG commercial projects,
- Experience to lead and drive projects and deliver operational excellence
- Ability to lead various partners in a matrix organisation and a strong affinity with people management
- Good basic knowledge of all related cross functional areas in product change projects: finance, operations, R&D, marketing and sales
- Communication skills and business maturity to act with afore mentioned groups which can reach to senior levels on daily contact and periodic meetings
- Experience in acting result oriented and drive decisions
- Fluent in English
