Regional Country Controller
Location: Netherlands, Rotterdam - hybrid model of work
Reporting to: LAR ACCOUNTING & CONTROLLING GROUP MANAGER
Your Responsibilities:
- Reporting of financial data for several countries including the preparation of HQ reporting packages
- Coordination of monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Full Country Accounting, Statutory and Tax responsibility
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are reconciled
- Primary contact for Our external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance Policies, SOX and US GAAP
- Collaborate with Internal Control for creation, changing and implementation of financial procedures and financial controls
- Provide technical accounting support to improve processes.
- Take part in international projects
- Monitor, challenges and specifies improvements to business systems and practices to ensure control and proper measurement of business activities.
- Report on and comments upon movements in actual.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar accounting function in an International company
- higher education in accounting or finance with a accounting emphasis ACCA, CMA, AA, RC, CPA or equivalent
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience - reporting with the Oracle and ERP systems,
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- experience in a Shared Services environment
