Objectives
As the Visual Merchandiser of our two Amsterdam stores, you create a space of surprise and emotion, in accordance with Hermès guidelines and the stores’ commercial objectives. Together with the Sales Associates you create the interior visual merchandising and contribute to the preparation of commercial events by ensuring the quality and coherence of the store in every métiers area.
Main ActivitiesVisual Merchandising
- Implement the Hermès Visual Identity following the Essentials Guidelines and Inspirational Booklets and in line with each store’s focus and product offer
- Ensure that the presentation of the products is in line with the brand identity, furnishing and customer flow
- Guarantee an inviting and qualitative presentation, ensuring adequate garment care standards every day in collaboration with the store team
- Guarantee a coherent product association as a real story telling tool
- Manage VM materials and PLV with a special attention to sustainability
- Plan and prepare the VM implementation to reach higher VM standards and time efficiency
- Manage product launches on schedule and in line with Hermès standards.
- Create a monthly VM planning and adapt it to the needs of the store and to the forecast according to seasonal guidelines and deliveries (including Podium VM animation)
- Identify, together with the Store Managers and the Regional VM, opportunities to increase sales and customers satisfaction
- Maximize and promote business opportunities always keeping in mind the customer perspective
- Intervene in relation to the KPIs of the store, take actions aimed at achieving the objectives and forecast for the store (with the supervision of Store Managers and the Regional VM) in line with the House image
- Organize and plan work based on business and commercial needs
- Support implementation of the in-store commercial animation
- Evaluate and develop the visual and commercial skills of the store team
- Organize, offer and create Visual training for all Métier Ambassadors so that they could contribute to the maintenance of VM
- Share information on inspirational booklets for each season with the team and follow their evolution over time
- Share seasonal trend information with the store team, constantly offering information and inspiration
- At least 8 years in a Visual Merchandising position
