Senior Compliance Officer
The role
You play an important role within the Advice & Account Management team of the Compliance department. You maintain the Compliance framework and policies, inform and advise the first line, assess communications and product proposals, participate in projects, and provide training.The department is standardizing its working methods and focusing on providing advice based on legal obligations, and you will play an active role in this development.
What you would do- You will play an important part in setting up and maintaining the Compliance framework.
- Advising 1st line stakeholders on APG AM's regulatory requirements and how they are or should be implemented.
- Contributing to and providing countervailing power in projects and product development.
- Writing and keeping policies up to date.
- Training APG AM employees in supervisory laws, regulations, and internal codes of conduct.
What you bring
To successfully fulfill this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex regulatory challenges effectively. Additionally, a high level of adaptability and resilience is essential, as you will need to respond to evolving compliance landscapes and organizational needs. Finally, exceptional stakeholder management abilities will be crucial for fostering collaboration and building trust across various teams and departments. Furthermore we are looking for:
- You have an academic degree (Master's) in law, accountancy, economics, finance, or a related field. A Compliance course is a strong advantage.
- You have at least 8 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in asset management and in the field of Compliance. Experience with fiduciary management is also a strong advantage.
- You are a team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across teams.
- You are content-driven and show initiative.
- You have excellent communication skills and can convey information clearly and convincingly both verbally and in writing
- You have full professional proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
What we offer you
We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 6637 - 9482 EUR based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
- A guaranteed end of year bonus of 8.33%
