Job Description:
A Senior Manager in SAP Consulting for the Order to Cash (OTC) process plays a crucial role in guiding and managing clients through their S/4HANA implementation, optimization, and support of their SAP OTC solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, aligning business needs with SAP transformations (e.g., S/4HANA greenfield projects). Oversee the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP OTC solutions (Sales Order Management, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, pricing, etc.).
- Lead client meetings, workshops, and discussions to understand business requirements and challenges. Develop long-term client relationships, ensuring smooth delivery of OTC solutions (SAP modules: SD, MDG-BP, Open Text…) and fostering repeat business.
- Ensure solutions address client pain points and align with industry best practices in the Chemicals and Natural Resources industry. Provide leadership in complex and global implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines and budget. Manage cross-functional teams (integration with Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics) and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Lead the OTC project lifecycle from planning and blueprinting to execution (design and build including satellite interfaces, reporting, testing, data migration, training, and cutover) and go-live. Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants (onshore and offshore), ensuring their technical and functional development.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the client OTC process through SAP transformation, recommending automation, reporting improvements, and process efficiencies.
- Coordinate with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives. Provide expert-level guidance to functional and technical teams, bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities for new projects, expansions, or add-ons within the OTC area. Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution demos, RFP responses, and proposal development.
- Contribute to developing Accenture industry and SAP assets impacting the OTC area.
