Content Operations Intern
We’re looking for a highly-motivated, social and structured individual to join our event content and operations team as an intern. You’ll get to liaison between different business stakeholders e.g. production suppliers, marketing, content and sales teams, beef up your network of tech leaders, startup founders and investors - while working to build the best events in the tech industry.
This position is perfect for an outgoing and finds it easy to establish (formal) relationships, is brave and creative about cold outreach to senior people, and can work individually but is also a real team-player.

TNW Conference will take place on June 19 & 20 at NDSM, Amsterdam and will be part of Amsterdam's 750th anniversary.The role
- Learn how to write commercially compelling content by assisting program managers in drafting and editing content session descriptions, interview questions, scripts for recorded and live content and promotional materials, including social posts
- Start building your network of tech leaders by supporting speaker management, including show materials
- Master our event and marketing tech stack by updating the event website and event platforms with speakers, side-events, including partner events and keeping track of sign-ups.
- Assist with initial project launches for white-label events and keep track of key milestones and deliverables.
- Assist with overall event planning, including vendor management such as catering, accreditation, etc.
- Help with organizing side-events such as opening & closing parties by coordinating with venues, arranging bands & DJs, catering.
- Help create fun and interactive entertainment during the conference by finding ways to collaborate with artists or companies that can showcase innovative tech products.
- Manage the volunteer program by reviewing candidates, assigning roles and responsibilities, writing and updating the volunteer guidebook, etc.
- Help us improve our sustainability program - research new sustainability initiatives that could be implemented, find fun ways for attendees to engage.
- Help coordinate information related to signage and design deliverables.
- Currently enrolled in marketing, journalism, business or other similar studies, preferably graduate-level.
- Be enrolled in a Dutch university or posses a valid permit to work in the Netherlands.
- Tech-savvy. Able to learn new tools quickly.
- You are excited to work in a start-up environment.
- You are a social team player, who finds it easy to talk to new people and establish strong relationships.
- You are well spoken and have no issue getting a message across. You are an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who is an organised and structured worker.
- You have excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferably located in/around Amsterdam. Must be based in the Netherlands.
- This internship begins in February 2025. You are preferably available full-time (35-40 hours per week) until the end of July 2025.
- The internship is hybrid with the expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.
