Our client is a leading provider in the Transport and Rail sector across Europe. Operating in North Brabant they are currently know for they rapid growth and because of this there is a pressing need to streamline and optimize their IT and business reporting processes to meet organizational demands.

Functie

The BI Consultant will work closely with various business teams to ensure that the data reporting meets organizational needs, and will bridge the gap between business and IT requirements.

• Design, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Develop data tables and models to structure information from multiple sources.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure BI solutions meet those needs.
• Communicate effectively with both business and IT teams, providing updates and insights on reporting progress.
• Work with backend data sources, ensuring integration with SQL databases and other data warehouses.
• Secure data from the company's data warehouse, ensuring proper data governance and integrity.
• Apply knowledge of ITIL processes for managing and supporting IT services.
• Provide technical support for Power BI and reporting solutions as needed.

Profiel

A successful BI Consultant a.i. should have:

• Proven experience with Power BI, including building data models, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and backend integration.
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems, particularly AFAS is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and standards.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
