Functie- Manage all 3PL relationships and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage all Transportation relationships and drive continuous improvement.
- Own and manage budget for all Warehouse, Value Add and Transportation Services in Europe
- Manage all activities associated with opening new 3PL's and closing 3PL's as required by the strategic business plans.
- Own the management and enforcement of 3PL contracts.
- Develop metrics to manage the cost, quality and service delivered by all 3PL's.
- Partner with cross functional teams to support accurate and consistent data flows to 3PL and transportation partners
- Partner with Quality to document processes, create leading indicators, manage hold inventory, manage inbound
- Manage the storage of Dangerous Goods and ensure compliance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and maintain integrated business plans.
- Monitor, analyze and manage and measure direct from Supplier transportation.
- Monitor, analyze and manage 3PL to Customer transportation.
- Monitor and analyze current and historical market transportation trends and proactively work with carriers to get
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that financial goals are met.
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management.
- Partner with North American Supply Chain to track inbound shipments.
- Be Primary point of contact for the 3PL.
- Monitor the inventory at the 3PL and resolve any quality issues or aging inventory.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain best practices and policies.
- Degree in business, finance, supply chain management or related field
- 5+ years of transportation and distribution experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or similar.
- Experience with WMS systems
- Inventory Management and Inventory Control experience
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to gather information and data to Identify cause and effect relationships
- Possess strong communication skills
