Functie

For our Finance organization in North-West Europe, we are looking for a Commercial Credit Controller-Business Finance. In this role you will act as sparring business partner for credit management and other commercial matters directly supporting cluster commercial management in steering decision making. You are reporting directly to the Head-Business Finance (Commercial-EU) in Amsterdam and matrix reporting line to Cluster Commercial Head based at Enschede. Your activities will cover those as mentioned, but is not limited to:

• Credit Insurance: Working closely with Credit Insurance & Credit advice service providers to ensure adequate Credit limits are assigned for customers to achieve business growth
• Credit & Overdue Management: Oversee timely customer collections and efficient credit management to ensure lower DSO levels & meet monthly targets.
• Cash-flow Forecasting & Reporting: Monthly collection forecasting & reporting variances versus budgets and last comparative period
• Commercial Policy Compliance: To act as linking pin between specialized Central BP team and cluster commercial team to ensure full compliance to defined commercial procedures and policy
• Project Support: support various business initiatives and improvement projects

• 6-8 years relevant work experience
• Graduation degree in business management or business controlling
• Financial analysis capabilities & Good business acumen
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system in O2C process
• International mind-set and ability to work with people for different cultural background
• Team player - being able to work with multiple colleagues from many departments
• Communication & advisory skills - ability to precisely summarize on key topics
• Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory), any other European language is a plus.
• Location Amsterdam or Enschede.
