About the job
As a Radar System Engineer, you work in a multidisciplinary team on the specification, design, development and validation of radar systems. The project teams consist, in general, of a radar architect, system, hardware, software and test engineers and specific domain/field specialists (e.g. radar functional design, signal processing, safety and cybersecurity).The system engineer, in cooperation with the rest of the team, is responsible for the global design of the radar, thereby taking into account the functional performance, quality and costs to find the optimal design. The system engineering work comprises of, for example, abstract/functional work like radar design (defining new capabilities/functionalities), but also solving issues, which requires detailed knowledge of for example specific components and/or analysing field data.
Our team is looking for ambitious colleagues who are willing to learn ‘the essentials of radar engineering’.
About you- Master degree in, for example, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Applied Mathematics;
- good communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
- willingness to learn;
- fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch;
- preferably knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and C++;
- You have to pass a Dutch Security check in order to get a clearance (we are a Defence Company) to work for us.
