Technician -Defense & Technology - Electronics Systems
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced technician to join a dynamic team and play a key role in modifying and maintaining critical Battle Management Systems (BMS).
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and Modification: Perform hardware modifications and military software updates for Battle Management Systems (BMS).
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and repair of complex electronic systems.
- Technical Support: Work independently with occasional support from the project and engineering teams in Israel.
- Team Leadership (Future): Manage a small team (2-3 technicians) as the role evolves.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a technical expert when liaising with customers, including the Dutch Ministry of Defense (NLMoD), and provide clear, professional presentations of technical information.
- Maintenance and Reporting: Oversee and report on system maintenance, ensuring all technical requirements are met in a timely manner.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Technical Expertise: You have at least 3 years of experience as an electronics practical engineer or technician, with hands-on experience repairing army communication systems, radios, and other advanced electronic equipment.
- Military Experience: You have served in the Dutch Army in a technical capacity and have familiarity with military-grade electronics and systems.
- Team Leadership: You’re capable of managing a small technical team and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You have expertise in failure analysis and the ability to troubleshoot using advanced computerized test equipment.
- Communication Skills: You are fluent in both Dutch and English, with the ability to present complex technical topics to both customers and technical teams.
- Desire to Learn: You are keen to expand your knowledge of new technologies and are motivated to continually improve your skills.
