HR Administrative Assistant - Den Haag

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or work equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with international teams and diverse workforces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of empathy and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Dutch employment law, CAO regulations, and recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in HR-related software AFAS and tools for personnel management.

Responsibilities: In this role you will provide administrative support in HR related matters. You will manage

personnel records, scheduling interviews and orientations. Assisting with payroll and benefits
administration. Answer phone calls, filing records, keeping track of employee information, setting up meetings and interviews, and answering questions from employees. You will also
keep employee files up to date, keep databases up to date, and run reports. Proficiency in
programs like Microsoft Office, databases, and HR Software – AFAS, to manage employee
information.
  • Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing
company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining
benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
  • Maintains human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer,
termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking
vacation, sick, and personal time.
  • Prepares vacancies, offer letters, contracts.
  • Administers employee benefit program by advising employees of eligibility, providing
application information, helping with form completion, verifying submission, and
notifying employees of approvals.
  • Documents and tracks human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs,
and records.
  • Sets up and schedules meetings.
  • Handle UWV and Insurance processes.
