About the Job
As part of the Data Powerhouse team, you'll bridge IT-Data teams and business end-users. You will ensure that our data functions operate effectively & efficiently by leveraging data governance, data quality, project & change management. The ambition is to unlock business value by implementing new data solutions, organizing data to be used at scale, rapidly deploying and promoting these solutions, and enhancing data literacy among Danoners.
Your main responsibilities will be to:- Define & drive the roll-out of the data excellence program with a focus on data re-use, data quality and the protection of sensitive data in line with internal & external policies and standards.
- Define the data operating model, the associated roles & responsibilities and the tooling so that data is owned and managed as a strategic asset.
- Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the development and implementation of data quality & master data standards and to launch corrective measures in case the data is not yet fit for purpose.
- Co-own the change & adoption roadmap with the product owners to realize the adoption ambition of data products and to increase the data literacy of our colleagues.
- Steer the execution of the data roadmap by owning the agile ceremonies and by reporting on the roadmap status, progress, risks & issues.
- Oversight the data landscape & the data acquisition strategy to eliminate redundancies in external data sources and streamline the expenses related to those services.
- Partner with the business and IT teams to identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
You will be part of the Data Powerhouse, a business data team of 7 people, tasked with the mission of powering-up the business with data solutions, and acting as a bridge between the IT-Data teams and the business end-users.
In this role, you will be directly reporting to Laurent Mons, Head of Data Powerhouse.
You have a Master in computer science or information management and have +5 years of relevant experience in data transformation projects with a focus on data governance, data quality & master data.
In order to be successful, you- Have a T-shape profile at ease with the value chain and its main data management capabilities & components i.e. governance, quality, model, architecture, engineering, privacy, security.
- Are familiar with data management best practices & market standards.
- Have strong project management skills to execute the roadmap in time, budget & quality.
- Have strong interpersonal skills to embark the users in the change journey and make it happen.
- Are easy to work with and willing to be part of a nice team.
- Speaking French or Dutch is a plus!
