The Challenge

The Quality Manager role is organized within the HRM, ICT & GA department and is assigned to the QESH & Risk management area, in close collaboration with the CI Manager, Quality Officer, Maire’s Group and STS System Quality teams. You will directly report to the QESH & Risk Manager.

Quality Management is the fundament to fulfill conditions for success and continuous improvement of the organization.

As our next Quality Manager your purpose is to implement, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System and its related documented information, such as procedures, work processes, flow charts, instructions etc. in accordance with applicable international and Group’s standards.

You will work in a rapidly growing and constantly changing international organization as a team player who can also work independently and who will face high level of diversity.

As a Quality Manager your key responsibilities and authorities are to:

  • Facilitate middle management in processes and procedures a consistently and implementation thereof;
  • Facilitate middle management in closing the Plan-Do-Check-Act loop with plans, programs and issues;
  • Prepare and facilitate management review and Quality management meetings with Quality Officer;
  • Facilitate annual and long term quality and continuous improvement plans;
  • Facilitate business and process risk & opportunity assessment;
  • Facilitate line management in problem solving through root cause analysis and defining, execution, monitoring, evaluating of corrective actions (e.g. complaints, claims, non-conformities, concerns);
  • Participate in internal and external Quality related working groups and/or meetings;
  • Participate in internal and external audits, act as internal (lead) auditor Quality Management;
  • Facilitate in vendor appraisals and participate in vendor auditing;
  • Participate in reporting of Quality related incidents, issues and analyses of trends;
  • Advise on training programs for and act as trainer in Quality and Quality Management;
  • Stay on top of latest or new relevant Quality developments, regulations, laws, standards and anticipate on impact and consequences;
  • Escalate to QESH & Risk Manager in case of emerging situations which can impact the organization, customers and/or other internal/external relevant stakeholders;
  • Facilitate that Quality related issues are mitigated effectively within the organization; • Act as internal auditor/assessor in Quality Management.

The Candidate

Main Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or level in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • 7 years of experience in Quality Management (e.g. consultant, specialist, engineer);
  • Strong background within Quality department (QA, QC, Quality Management and Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001);
  • Qualified or willing to get qualified as Lead Auditor Management Systems (ISO 19011/ISO 9001);
  • Advanced insight in continuous improvement and operational excellence; Lean green belt is required, Six Sigma green belt is preferred;
  • Some experience in Process Management is preferred;
  • Well-developed documenting, reporting and presenting skills;
  • Advanced IT-literacy;
  • Knowledgeable in field of business and/or process risk management;
  • Interest for / experience with change, transformation, innovation, digitalization;
  • Working in an international and multicultural working environment;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Professional command of English.
