Legal Counsel
You will work on general regulatory compliance, legal and governance structuring, and transaction-related matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements with third parties. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the most innovative projects in the Web3 gaming industry and adjacent industries, while developing your legal expertise.
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of post-qualified legal experience, either in a law firm or with a web3 company, with a passion for the evolving intersection of law and technology.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities as a Legal Counsel will include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting to the General Counsel and the Associate General Counsel.
- Interfacing with members of the Finance, Business Development, Operations, Engineering, Product and other internal teams, and assisting with legal inquiries.
- Assessing and providing legal input on product developments from a compliance and regulatory standpoint.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of contracts and agreements
- Conducting legal research and collaborating with local counsel on region-specific legal issues.
- Supporting the legal team in governance related matters, including legal assessments and reviews in this relation.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of internal legal policies and procedures.

Requirements- 2+ years of post-qualified experience working within the legal industry, preferably in an internationally recognized law firm or an established web3 company.
- Multidisciplinary background with experience in one or more of the following subject areas of law: gaming, intellectual property, corporate structuring, capital markets, tax, compliance and crypto regulations in jurisdictions such as the EU, UK or US.
- Interest in, and Intermediate knowledge of, the crypto industry and blockchain technology, including smart contracts.
- Proactive in keeping up to date with regulatory developments.
- Team-oriented and collaborative.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English, enabling clear and effective communication.
- Proactive and flexible availability, willing to adapt to changing circumstances and contribute when required.
Nice to have:
- Experience advising on risk mitigation relating to product developments.
- Have the ability to drive negotiations and projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of gaming related regulations, including the use of blockchain technology in the gaming industry.
