Area Sales Manager

Job purpose: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic sales representative for “lifting equipment & height safety solutions,” who will actively work in both the B2B and B2C markets.
You will be responsible for selling high-quality products used in various segments of the construction and industrial sectors.

As our new colleague, you will be willing to travel frequently within the Netherlands (approximately 80% of the time) to visit clients. You will be involved in prospecting and actively contribute to building a stable network of distributors. In addition to expanding our distributor network, you will seek out sales opportunities with potential key accounts in various market segments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue goals;
  • Maintain and expand customer portfolio;
  • Develop growth strategy in the region on a customer basis (rayon plans) and within the framework of the overall business strategy;
  • Effective and transparent visit reports and managing transparent customer information in CRM;
  • Preparing quotation requests (determining product and pricing strategy);
  • Advising customers and prospects on existing and new products, applications, and delivery conditions.

Your profile:

  • Secondary vocational education thinking and working level;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar commercial role;
  • Knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, French or German is a plus;
  • An energetic and experienced salesperson with an affinity for technical products;
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude;
  • Willingness to work independently and travel frequently;
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
