About the job
The Sales Acceleration Manager is primarily responsible for developing a pipeline and closing IAM deals for our newest and most complex offerings, together with the regional sales teams and our partners in EMEA and APAC. By doing so you are at the edge of our IAM strategy and building a foundation for repeatable business.
As a Sales Acceleration Manager in the IAM Acceleration Team, you will:
- work hand-in-hand with the sales, partners and marketing on new and complex IAM offerings to customers.
- develop and implement sales strategies for a repeatable business
- hands-on develop the market and represent the solutions at conferences, value-added partners and enterprise customers.
Your key tasks will be:
- Create and manage a pipeline with opportunities and close deals with enterprise customers together with the Regional Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors in EMEA and APAC
- Represent Thales’ IAM portfolio (as speaker) at conferences, to value added partners and enterprise customers
- Contribute to the Acceleration team in developing and executing got-to-market strategies for our newest IAM solutions
- Coach and mentor our colleagues in the field to improve their solution-selling skills and performance
- Maintain a high degree of awareness of relevant products, competitors, and trends in the marketplace
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target accounts
- Provide regular reports on team and individual performance metrics to senior management
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or another related field
- 5+ years of experience in IAM sales or business development, with a focus on cloud security or digital transformation
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts, and the ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of our CIAM solutions to the digital journey of our prospects and customers
- Proven track record of bringing new products to the market and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs and challenges: without those, you’ll quickly get lost in the client woods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, partners and customers at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce
