Process Engineer

The core product is high pressure laminates (HPL). Applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors and retail interiors.Continuous investment to develop new and innovative products is a key part of the strategy.
Nemho employs over 60 technicians, engineers and chemists responsible for the development of new products and processes and for the continuous improvement of the product quality and production processes efficiency by implementing new and innovative technologies.
Objectives of the role
As a process engineer / chemist, you will be contributing to the new product and process developments in resins, papers and production technologies for the Broadview Materials companies. Based on your insights and together with a diverse team of specialists, you will deliver opportunities for optimizations, synergies and standardizations in the impregnation and pressing processes in our factories and be instrumental in the execution of these opportunities.You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, whereby depending on your experience and skill set, you can lead (sub-) projects for the team. A strong pragmatic, hands-on approach is required to be successful.
Description- Gain a clear understanding of our process by analyzing the situation in the Group factories.
- Create models to further standardize these processes in the different factories.
- Contribute to project descriptions and plans.
- Inform or advise the R&D Manager in strategic planning and decision making.
- Contribute to innovative projects for the BVH materials technology companies.
- Execute project administration work and act as project leader of sub-assignments.
Process engineering knowledge, scale up processes, thermosetting resin development and thermoplastics are important areas of competency for this role. Fluent English is a must, and other languages are welcome. Travel of up to 30% is part of this opportunity.
