Internship: Global Innovation Pipeline Management

As a Pipeline Management Intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated, international team driving innovation in Specialized Nutrition categories (Early life Nutrition and Medical Nutrition). You'll be leveraging our web-based portfolio and project management system to support pipeline health check reporting, analysis, and communication to relevant governance bodies, project teams, and the broader organization.
Throughout this internship, you will have to prove yourself able to adapt to a dynamic, global marketing environment and appear as a key business partner to the team.
You will be part of the Global IRO (Innovation and Realization Office) Pipeline Management team, a team connected to many functions of the organization. You will be supervised and report to the Global IRO Pipeline Manager. You will interact with different departments and gain experience at a global scope in a multicultural company.
Curious about your main tasks and responsibilities? You will:
- Coordinate that newly initiated projects for expanding existing SKUs to new regions (Roll-out Projects) fully comply with Danone's process guidelines:
- Guide Country Business Units to ensure data integrity and project submission completeness via our web-based project management system.
- Guarantee that approval steps are executed on time.
- Manage Power BI reporting of Roll-out projects for category pipeline reviews
- Assist in preparing and analyzing our annual intake of roughly 300 innovation projects. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the global pipeline team by consolidating inputs into resource check files, combining data outputs, and sharing insightful analyses with key stakeholders.
- Manage pipeline and project status/metrics reporting, communicating with business teams across the organization.
- Help generate comprehensive pipeline reports using our current digital tools.
- In addition, you will audit and maintain the data integrity of our web-based portfolio management system:
- Collaborate closely with the IRO Team (Directors, Project Leaders, Pipeline Manager, and Data Manager) to ensure the accuracy of program and project-related information (Programme, Project, Recipe, business case, stage gates, key milestones, Project timelines, risks, issues, resources, etc.).
- Work in partnership with category teams and regions/business units to ensure all necessary information at each stage gate is accurately reflected in the Portfolio Management System
You are adaptable, flexible to react but also maintain high professional standards.
You have:
- An eye for detail and the quality of information.
- An analytical mindset - you enjoy digging into data
- Proficiency in Excel, including constructing formulas and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of PowerBI or Planview is a plus.
- A fast-learning ability and adaptability to the company environment.
- A great team spirit with good communication skills.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in January 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
- You are able to work from Hoofddorp at least 2 days per week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer
We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
- Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
