Internship (R&I): Cycles & Procurement

You will be a valuable asset of the Indirect Procurement team, and will support senior buyer with day-to-day business, within the category of R&I. We offer you a great opportunity to investigate one of the essential resources of Danone, to collaborate in a multicultural environment and to be a key part of the implementation of sourcing strategies.You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, supplier performance’s evaluation, tracking implementation of corporate contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and optimization projects.
Your responsibilities will be:
Project Management- Support in several projects across R&I including support functions (Productivity etc.).
- Drive continuous improvements/business opportunities for R&I business
- Operational support - Management of sourcing projects with internal & external stakeholders, Consolidation/Optimization of supplier portfolio
- Support in the implementation of the R&I Procurement strategy and tender. Working closely with all the Global R&I centers/teams involved - Raising awareness and motivating the various stakeholders.
- Support in developing new tools & dashboards.
As a Cycles & Procurement intern, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management be second nature to you. You can work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment and have strong communication skills. On top of that? You’re a proactive and motivated students, who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Master’s/Bachelor’s student in Business, Procurement, Economics, or Supply Chain student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in January / February for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week;
- You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
- You are able to work from Utrecht, NL, at least twice a week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
- Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
