Our client is a leading Manufacturing and Production company in Gelderland.

Functie

In this role as Logistics Manager a.i. you will have the following responsibilities:

• Warehouse & Internal Transport:
• Manage logistics departments, optimizing inventory and storage.
• Define and implement logistics strategies, leveraging lean methodologies.
• Drive a "first-time-right" approach to support production and assembly.
• Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Leadership:
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 employees, including two team leaders.
• Foster a high-performing culture that encourages employee engagement and innovation.
• Ensure adequate staffing and efficient task allocation.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide effective coaching and support.

Profiel

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar logistics management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
• Affinity with production environment or complex logistics environment.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement improvements.
• Communication: You are an effective communicator, able to clearly convey messages and actively listen to others.
• Innovation: You are proactive and forward-thinking, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Results-Oriented: You are driven to achieve goals and deliver exceptional results.

• Start date: ASAP
• Full time assignment (40h per week)
• On site (not possible to work hybrid)
• Contract for 3 months + option to extend
