As a Junior Capital Modelling & Solution Specialist, you will learn to take ownership of the development of models, tools and solutions that satisfy our customers and ambitions.

The Modelling and Solutions teams are part of Capital Adequacy & Scenario Analysis (CASA).
Making a difference
  • CASA Modelling & Solutions is at the core of our bank. The models, tools, and solutions we develop attract broad interest from various stakeholders throughout the bank, including senior management.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with complex models and risk metrics, developing solutions that impact millions of customers. This includes our internally developed Economic Capital model for Credit Risk, which is widely used within the bank to assess the impact of strategic decisions made by senior management.
  • Our 15+ economic capital models provide you with unique insights into the entire modelling chain – from initial ideas to full Python implementation and subsequent usage. One of the key challenges in the coming years is to robustly include Climate and Environmental risk in our economic capital framework.
  • You will collaborate with modellers and IT developers and interact with a broad range of stakeholders outside our department to ensure proper embedding of the models, tools, and solutions in the organization and to stay aware of market and balance sheet developments. You will conduct thorough analyses and account for your work through comprehensive documentation and clear communication.
  • You’ll be on the front lines, presenting your own theories and taking your own initiatives to keep the bank moving forward. You will represent the team internally and externally, for example, in committees, boards, or meetings with auditors or regulators.
With each other
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our team brings talented people together to realise industry best practice models and the use of the results within the bank. With you as Junior Capital Modelling & Solutions Expert in the CASA team, the team will consist of about 35 diverse colleagues with a variety of seniority.
