Your Role
As Team Lead, you’ll oversee a team of six driven Field Sales Representatives working across the south of the Netherlands. You’ll be based in our Amsterdam office two days a week, with access to a pool car to support and manage your colleagues in various cities throughout the southern region.Your focus? Boosting market coverage, building a solid sales pipeline, and helping your team hit their targets. You’ll lead by example – coaching, motivating, and actively selling alongside your team. You’ll report to the Field Sales Manager and work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Operations, and Recruitment.
Your ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Coaching (50%)
- Lead, guide, and support your sales team to reach both personal and team targets
- Foster a high-performing team culture with a strong focus on coaching and development
- Translate KPIs and objectives into clear action plans for each team member
- Track key sales metrics and adjust strategies to drive consistent performance
- Help recruit, onboard, and train new regional sales reps
- Improve the onboarding experience to ensure new hires ramp up quickly
- Continually develop the skills and confidence of your existing team members
- Stay active in the field – generating leads, closing deals, and supporting your reps during client meetings
- Run A/B tests on lead generation strategies and refine the sales process
- Leverage specialized tools and sales channels to identify new opportunities
- Ideally, you have experience leading a sales team selling a B2B software proposition, face-to-face
- Can provide evidence of consistently delivering on targets and KPIs
- You possess a strong focus on business development and sales processes, making them more efficient and driving improvements using data-driven evidence
- You have experience hiring, onboarding, and training sales professionals
- You possess a proactive mindset, enjoy problem-solving and are solution-focused
- An excellent teacher and communicator, with proven success in developing individuals
- A highly organised individual with a passion for the hair and beauty industry
- A competitive drive that inspires you to contribute your absolute best effort, never settling for ‘good enough’
- The ability to troubleshoot product challenges — understanding if a user error, training gap, or actual product/tech issue.
- You speak fluently Dutch and English.
