We’re looking for an IT Administrator & Support Engineer to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands on a permanent basis.

Our IT Administrator & Support Engineers play a crucial role in supporting user productivity and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure. This position serves as the second tier of technical support, collaborating with internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues affecting users.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting hardware, software, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Maintain system performance and stability through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Manage the ticketing system, prioritising and resolving incidents.
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems, applications and tools.
• Onboard and offboard staff members, managing access control within Active Directory.
• Maintain key IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and security.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient and responsive IT support.

Requirements

Experience we look for:

• A strong background in providing on-site IT support at a 2nd line level.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English languages (native/C1-C2).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure environments, with relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate.
• Possess an advanced understanding of Windows Server and Workstation administration.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory and networking concepts, encompassing user management, security groups, DNS, and DHCP.
• Excel in both written and verbal communication, effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possess a proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues, showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional user support and service, prioritising user satisfaction.

• Additional fluency in another European language (French, German, Spanish).
• Previous experience of working in a standalone role.
