WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- As Supply Chain Specialist, you will drive operational excellence through executional and transactional activities across relevant Nike systems, tools and reports to maintain the Nike Direct order book across all ND channels to ensure seasonal readiness in alignment with X-functional commercial and Supply Chain stakeholders
- You will utilize operational knowledge, analytical and critical thinking skills to elevate service and increase availability while optimizing cost
- You will be Subject Matter Expert on supply flow with ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively to leaders and stakeholders across ND
- You will flexibly move to provide your subject matter expertise in areas of critical business need across EMEA Supply Chain
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
- Execute system transactions towards effective contracts management, coverage assessment and execution of order book transactions to drive Demand Supply alignment in partnership with x-functional teams while creating visibility to inventory flow & availability
- Contribute towards seasonal reviews through on-time, high quality information flow to create and maintain transparency and visibility across ND Supply Chain by recommending tradeoffs in alignment with the ND Supply Chain and Seasonal execution teams
- Provide subject matter expertise into scenario planning and preparation for execution of Key Retail Moments
- Change agent for the transformation of the new organization setup by championing the vision and approach with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead small sized improvement projects by applying project management tools and skills to define and follow-up on actions. Participate in medium to large sized cross-functional projects as the ND Contract Mgmt. subject matter expert
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Training Documents for ND Supply Chain
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work in a cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU's operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely withMerchandising, Marketing and Planning functions and Technology Teams. This role has no direct reports.
WHAT YOU BRING?- 1-3 years' experience in a supply chain, allocation, planning, or back of house leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business, and a passion for operations.
- Omnichannel Retail mindset and Experience
- Service/ Consumer Obsession
- Understanding of Supply Chain Planning & Operations and general business knowledge.
- Orderbook management knowledge and Financial acumen
- Analytical Mindset & Scenario Planning: Experience in KPI management and root cause analysis using excel and/or Tableau & perform deep dive analysis. Analytical & entrepreneurial skills which support a result driven approach delivering operational excellence.
- Strong verbal and written communication: Ability to translate complex supply chain issues into concise insights, bringing recommendations that facilitates decision making.
- Influencing X-functional stakeholders: Ambition to drive change, and ability to communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure and multinational teams.
- Problem solving mentality with desire to improve processes & tools
- Strong service focus and a proactive demeanor
- Solid Excel knowledge and ability to pick up new systems quickly. SAP and Tableau knowledge preferred.
