There is an exciting opportunity to be part of Infosys e2e Architecture team to help build a transformative end-to-end world-wide architecture, underpinning our next generation broadband & mobile products to all countries within the family of client Op Co’s in Europe and beyond.
Your Role
Your role will be to provide enterprise level architecture and strategy, defining future proof e2e architecture needed to deploy end customer products across both HFC, XGS-PON & 5G based networks to homes and business throughout Europe.
Unique opportunity to join us on the journey to help redefining our strategy and underling architecture for launching innovative products using our next generation Fibre and mobile access to client’s 26m subscribers and then onto other large scale Carriers.
As the successful applicant you will have the opportunity to be involved in the complete e2e ecosystem needed for any next generation broadband service. You will be involved in defining a central Pan European / World-wide blueprint architecture and Back Office components deployed through all of cleint's Op Cos and beyond.
The role will involve providing Technical Leadership towards both Execs and, in parallel, socialise e2e Architecture towards top programmers. Objective will be to provide authoritative guidance on strategy, planning, design, build and test phases, and working with product owners and program managers to address requirements and meet governance gates.
You will be accountable for developing, documenting and maintaining architectural guidelines/policies; being sure to consider network, product, security, compliance, operations, planning and engineering requirements as well as the impact on IT, system integration and test teams.
Your architecture will also define agreed e2e calls flows with on-boarding and in-life processes needed to provide IP, VOIP and video streaming services.
You will also be responsible in investigating and selecting the strategic Back Office components needed to operate consumer and business service.
Responsibilities- Publishing Target Architecture, Architecture Assessment, Initial Impact Assessments and High-Level Architecture documentation defining the blueprint from 6months to 5 years out.
- Define E2E Architecture ranging from CPE firmware requirements, Back Office microservice strategy, API definitions, Cloud strategy and B2B specific requirements.
- Define e2e roadmap.
- Define Plan Of record for future budgets
- Big Room Guidance, control Kanban boards, monitor Jira stories within agile way of working.
- Involvement RFx for new components
- Engage with Industry Bodies and keep watching brief of trends and standards.
- Vendor selection
- Prior enterprise architecture experience is essential, designing and implementing service delivery platforms based on API contracts is mandatory. Good knowledge of REST/JSON, SOAP/XML and key web front-end and back-end frameworks.
- You will have strong IT, SOM/COM, policy management, Systems, CPE, Smart Home/Io T and Network Architecture pedigree, with specific experience with Telco backend systems and associated protocols with the ability to define Microservices and API contracts between Back Office cloud-based systems.
- You are a proven technical leader and ready to drive LG key connectivity projects, taking on the coordination of a multi-vendor ecosystem.
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience as an Architect (E2E/Enterprise/Solution) within a Telco environment, overseeing national broadband or mobile product launches servicing in both consumer and B2B markets with experience with wholesaling broadband services.
- BSc degree level in a relevant area (Computer Science, Telecommunications, etc.)
- You will have understanding of the technologies and platforms specific to a large cable and telecommunications operator, with background knowledge and experience of HFC / DOCSIS, XGS-PON and mobile based networks.
- You must have In-depth experience of Cloud technologies with experience of defining architecture within AWS and/or GCP environments, where resilience, running costs, monitoring and security are all specified.
- You will have experience and detailed understanding of interfaces and protocols used in the collection, application and notification of control & policy across multiple access methodologies to support modern converged services.
- Real-life experience of developing and maintaining App, Web and care based tools to end users, using agile/Jira based working tools for release management within a few weeks cadence for regular releases.
- Specific experience within a Smart Home or Io T integration background would be an advantage.
- You will have great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some understanding of ACS, TR-181, TR-101, TR-156, TR-104, TR-69/TR-369, Web PA, modelling, AAA, Open Sync, MQTT/OVSDB, SNMPv3, YANG, IPv4/IPv6 allocation and PCRF/PCEF concept is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of industry standards & architecture frameworks as TAM, e TOM, SID, TOGAF, SOA, Web 2.0 would be required.
