Buyer/Planner - Strategic Components

Purchaser/Planner at Supermicro B.V. will be dedicated to plan, manage, and execute purchasing activities such as forecast review, material planning, procurement transaction, inventory control, and other purchasing related duties, with the main goal to maintain healthy product mix and optimal inventory level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute procurement of responsible product based on sales Forecast and market trend, provide on-time material procurement with continuous improvement approach to quality and inventory control.
• Interact with different stakeholders internally (Product managers, Program managers, sales) to maintain a healthy inventory level.
• Daily Operations such as PO issuing, BO maintaining, tracking, monitoring, etc., and data maintenance/analysis.
• Local sourcing & procurement execution.
• Maintain, review, and improve vendor relationships & performance.
• Other projects and tasks may be assigned based on business needs

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years related working experience, ideally in computer hardware or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree, major in supply chain management is preferred.
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office and Outlook, experienced in SAP/MRP system is preferred.
• Excellent in English (Listening, speaking, reading, writing), Mandarin is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong organizational skills and result-oriented sense of work, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal.
• Good mathematical, analysis, and communication ability.

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
