Internship (Finance): FP&A for Global Procurement (Potential Future Finance Trainee 2025)

On the Role
You will have the chance to support our FP&A team in our Global Procurement Finance function at Danone.
You will have the opportunity to learn and gain hands on experience on the basics of a FP&A / Procurement role within a multinational company. Analyzing, presenting conclusions & recommendations are essential for this position and your development as a Finance Controller within Danone.
Within Finance, we are the business partners for innovative and topline initiatives across the group and play a key role in the company’s strategy. For your development you will have access to a wide range of company’s tools with an extensive range of different trainings and e-learnings where you can deep dive in many fields of expertise.In addition, you will have expert guidance and support from your business manager and the team.
Throughout this internship, you will have to prove yourself being able to adapt to the challenging Topline controlling environment and appear as a key business partner to the teams.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
Digitalization journey:
- Lead the dashboarding and process automation to translate data into insights that can influence the business performance and decision making process. Leverage the use of tools such as Power BI.
- Collaborate with team members to understand the needs and gather relevant performance data from different stakeholders.
Performance animation:
- Monthly performance tracking: Support the FP&A team on closing results, variance analysis, reporting, risk and opps and accounting activities.
- Take part in the preparation of standard decks for the senior management.
- Explore and take advantage of our global structure to interact with different geographies and functions in order to have a solid understanding of the business.
Process and stakeholders management:
- Explore and take advantage of our global structure to interact with different geographies and functions in order to have a solid understanding of the business
- Bring a “fresh eye” into our end to end process, contribute with new ideas and improvements.
Next to this, you will have the opportunity to take part in transversal projects with different finance stakeholders.

You should be an enthusiastic self-starter who is organized, have an eye for details, is not afraid to work autonomously and knows how to prioritize & respect deadlines. You have:
- Enrolled as a Masters student in majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- An analytical mindset with excellent Excel and Power BI skills.
- You are proactive, open-minded motivated and open to learn
- Strong communication skills;
- Excellent attention tor detail & commitment to deliver high quality and accurate results;
- The ability to challenge situations, act with resilience and manage stakeholders;
There are also some compulsory requirements:
- Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- Ideally available to start in December 2024/January 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 24-40 hours per week;
- You are fluent in English - oral and written;
- You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least a few times per week;
- Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We Offer
We offer a gross monthly internship allowance 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
- Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
