Health safety environment officer
From our main office in North Holland and regional offices throughout Europe we provide technical, logistical and sales support for the refractories manufactured by Krosaki throughout the world. Group headquarters being in Japan. Our growth is achieved by concentrating on service and relationships with major European Steel Manufacturers.

We are looking for a new colleague in our Technical department.
As a HSE Officer you will:
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental certifications.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and processes to meet certification requirements.
- Collaborate with management to implement sustainability goals in line with Green Steel initiatives.
- Lead HSE training and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Investigate incidents, analyze risks, and provide detailed reports and corrective actions.
- Implement strategies to reduce energy usage, emissions, and waste.
- Work with technical teams and regularly present HSE performance reports to management.
We are looking for a colleague who:
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and sustainability practices.
- Preferable 3 years of experience in an HSE role. Not a must
- Experience in risk management and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication and training skills, fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Reside in the Netherlands or within the European Union and hold a valid work permit to work in the Netherlands.

Working hours: Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Flexible schedule depending on operational needs.
