The HR Operations & Systems (HRIS) Specialist plays a critical role in supporting HR functions by supporting and optimizing our HR systems and processes. This position will focus on enhancing HR processes (on- and offboarding, HR data, etc.), improving systems (time tracking, e-learning, etc.) and ensuring smooth payroll and payment operations.The ideal candidate is tech-savvy (google sheets and (java)scripts), detail-oriented, and has an interest in HR operations.
🎯 What you'll do- HR Systems Support: Manage and maintain the HR systems, including HCM software, payroll systems, and other HR tools. Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, system updates, and enhancements.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with HR and other departments to streamline HR processes, optimize workflows, and implement best practices in HR operations.
- Data Management: Ensure data accuracy in HR systems by conducting regular audits and supporting data entry processes. Generate and analyze reports to provide insights on HR metrics.
- Payroll and Payments: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support payment processes, including compensation, bonuses, and benefits administration.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and customize the HCM system according to business requirements. Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other business systems.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to HR staff and other stakeholders on system usage, new features, and changes. Address user inquiries and offer solutions for system-related issues.
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements related to HR data and payroll. Prepare documentation and reports for audits and compliance reviews.
- You have a finished HBO degree, in a technical field is a plus not a must
- 2-4 years of experience in HR systems, payroll, or HR Operations
- You have full working proficiency in Dutch & English
- You have good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and are interested in programming
- Experience in working with Javascript is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Communication comes naturally to you so you can easily and clearly interact with different stakeholders
- You have a flexible attitude towards work and are not stressed easily
