The Functional Design and Development Specialist will design and build solutions relating to the Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Financials and related applications, focusing on meeting or exceeding business partners’ requirements and expectations.

Your Key Accountabilities Include:
- Planning: Effective status reporting, tracking individual progress against a portion of the work/project plan
- Effective ability to develop estimates in support of IT’s response to business partner requests for new or enhanced business systems solutions
- Able to coordinate additional support resources, to assist with project deliverables
- Solution Design: Ability to capture and understand moderately complex business requirements and recommend solutions that meet or exceed the needs of business partners
- Ability to clearly and accurately document requirements and subsequent solutions into functional design and configuration documents
- Ability to document testing requirements
- Solution Development: Ability to setup/configure moderately complex solutions using agreed-on techniques, aligning to published standards and addressing all required components
- Effective coordination and oversight of the delivery of moderately complex solutions by external resources, ensuring alignment with detailed designs, development methods, documentation standards and quality assurance requirements
- Effective management of the delivery of moderately complex solution or customization components by internal/external resources to agreed milestones and targets
- General: Apply effective industry specific knowledge (e.g. – warehouse management, transportation management)
- Requires moderate supervision from a more senior, systems leader
- Accepts limited responsibility for portions of project/service success
- Effective ability to understand and promote DHL’s project lifecycle, concepts, principals, and business processes
What are we looking for from you?
We are seeking someone with experience working within Oracle EBS/ERP Financials support roles in an I.T. environment, ideally with experience of working within project environments.
