Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems at the Netherlands sites, including user support, domain services, communications, and connectivity while collaborating globally with other company locations,
• Monitoring system performance, upgrades, and security backups for hardware and software systems,
• Managing crisis situations, including complex technical hardware or software issues, with flexibility to address urgent matters outside of regular working hours when necessary,
• Assessing network configurations and implement hardware/software upgrades and improvements,
• Planning and executing technology projects, defining scope, timelines, resources, and tracking progress,
• Designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintainaing IT infrastructure, including server hardware and performance tuning,
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure IT solutions align with company standards and business needs,
• Working with Cyber Security Operations to identify and mitigate security threats,
• Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, VBScript, and GPOs,
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT-systems, procedures, and configurations,
• Assisting in vendor selection and evaluation for IT-services and products.

• 5+ years experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role,
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience,
• Expertise in Microsoft O365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Microsoft),
• Hands-on experience with HP/Dell servers, SAN/NAS/NFS storage, and Cisco network devices,
• Proficiency in Intune for OS/application deployment, patching, and policy enforcement,
• Experience with Group Policies, AD, Azure AD Connect, MFA, SAML, SSO, and DirSync,
• Knowledge of email security (DMARC, SPF, DKIM, Mimecast) and web filtering solutions,
• PowerShell scripting for automation and system optimization,
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize IT systems,
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,
• Ability to assess situations logically and act based on relevant data,
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Dutch is a plus),
• Strong teamwork, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
• Flexiblity to travel between company sites within the Netherlands as needed.

• Salary from 70.000 to 90.000 yearly,
