At X-Cube, we are revolutionizing entertainment. With our X-Cubes that are equipped with a large touchscreen, four additional screens, controllers, sensors, and many more technological innovations we provide immersive experiences for groups of up to 6 players.

So far we have developed a number of exciting games (such as Spy Training, Crazy Game Show and Murder at the Mansion) but we are far from finished! We are looking for a developer that can help us take our games to the next level.

What will you do? As part of our game development team, you will play a crucial role in developing, designing and testing new and existing games. It is a dynamic role where you will see the direct impact of your work.
Where can our X-Cubes be found? Our units are located at prominent locations such as Center Parcs, Pathé cinemas, and the Hollywood Event Center, spread throughout the Netherlands.

We are looking for a Medior/Senior developer with an eye for detail.

Requirements:

Programming languages: C#
Experience: Game development in Unity
Talents/competencies: Analytical, creative, eager to learn
Characteristics: Flexible, critical but positive
Soft skills: Communicative, can structure their own work and environment
Spoken languages: English, Dutch is a plus
Media: Skills in creating and editing digital assets (audio, video and graphics) is a plus.
Modeling: Skills in creating and editing 3d models is a plus.
Education: Bachelor or Master in a relevant study
Eligible to work in the Schengen Area.

Job: Your core task is to build and design applications and games. We are currently working on new games using Unity. You will also assist with testing, ideation, providing (creative) feedback, troubleshooting, anything that fits your skill set.
If you are fluent in another (European) language, that is also an advantage. There is plenty of room to broaden or specialize and claim responsibilities. (Team/project lead, game developer, build/manage specific games, or API architecture) We appreciate it if you send a short motivation explaining why you would like to fill this position.

We also like to know if you have ever seen or played the X-Cube.
