Functie
This is a high-impact role within the Project Control Team, part of UNS broader 10-person Finance Team. As Business Controller, you'll help shape the financial backbone of a growing creative organization by driving insights, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
You'll work closely with architects, project managers, and senior stakeholders-including the CFO and CEO-to oversee project financials across multiple studios. You'll manage budgets, forecasts, monthly reporting, and support quarterly closings.Your role is crucial in monitoring project progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and contributing to the rollout of a new financial system.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Own P&L oversight and reporting for several studio entitiesLead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor project progress, WIP, and ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate across functions including architecture, business development, and finance
- Play a key role in standardizing and automating project control processes
- Deliver monthly updates to top management (CEO/CFO)
- Background in finance, business control, or project control
- Experience in creative industries is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Strong Excel skills (Power BI is a plus)
- Comfortable working in evolving structures with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
